I first shared this writing more than five years ago. It is a beautiful experience to witness what has refined since then, what has changed, and what has been born from it.
What if the reality — the truth — that once gave clarity to the events of our lives has now lost its validity?
What if what we see and perceive reaches us only through the blurred lens of habit?
What if we don’t dare to sharpen that blurred image, because deep within we already sense what we would see — and it feels frightening?
What if the only path still open to us is the one that lies beyond predictability — beyond what the logical mind can grasp?
Perhaps the Life we came here to live is waiting quietly in the hidden depths of our sleeping self, submerged beneath routines and familiar patterns.
And perhaps we have nothing more to do than to recognize it, accept it, and fully surrender ourselves to what we were given as a gift for this lifetime — and through that surrender, to the One from whom the gift came.
With love,
your traveling companion
